Five Releases for February 8th

  • Blonde Redhead - Secret Society Of Butterflies  I read about this somewhere and now I can't find any info on it. Maybe I dreamed about it. I've got a tendency to do that. I think there's a semi-mysterious Interpol album out this week as well.

  • The Frames - Burn the Maps  I linked the Insound page - they've got an MP3 (and a Calexico name-drop). There are other MP3s floating around as well.

  • K. McCarty - Dead Dog's Eyeball: Songs of Daniel Johnston  This is the ten year anniversary of the disc, complete with bonus materials. It's a great collection of covers. I really love this album.

  • Out Hud - One Life To Leave  I linked their website - they've got a bunch of MP3s.

  • Full House and Night Court - Seasons 1 on DVD. Nothing says "misery" like a weekend alone watching Full House and Night Court. I'm not saying I'm above that - I'm just saying that if you plan on partaking in such a weekend, you'd better concoct an elaborate lie for next Monday when your co-workers ask you what you've been up to for the past several days.
BONUS: Paul's review of Eisley's Room Noises on 75 or Less. The album is also due out today.
